6/15/2006 This weekend marks the 20th anniversary of the Gold Coast Fishing Classic presented by the Associated builders & Contractors for the benefit of Children's Harbor. Children's Harbor developed and operates the preeminent comprehensive model for the prevention of child abuse and neglect, and for the healing of children and families already victimized. Through the operation of Community-based Prevention and Intervention services. Family-Style Campus based residential services and Community based Private Foster Homes, the healing process can begin. 100% of the profits in this event will help Children's Harbor. Thanks to everyone's participation in 2005, they were able to give over $41,000 to the tournament beneficiary. And don't forget that you can now purchase the sleek, ultra-slim, i830 for just $249.99 after a $50 Motorola mail-in rebate. 1/14/2003 Well, we had some hesitant starts to the number portability issue but most of the carriers seem to have resolved themselves to it's fact and have found ways to get numbers ported fairly promptly. It still seems to take some time for some carriers to port a number over but on the whole, most numbers seem to be moved over in a couple of hours. Like we said earlier, some carriers take longer than others. So the keyword here is PATIENCE! 12/8/2003 Yes, there are delays in getting your numbers ported from one carrier to another. While some carriers can take hours, we've seen some ports take weeks! Please remember that this is a new law and new way of doing things. There are bound to be problems in the beginning. While the carriers are working hard on making these transitions quicker and easier, for now, patience is the key if you want to take your existing cell phone to another carrier! Number Portability Comes to Florida! As you may have heard, come November 24, 2003, the FCC has mandated that you have the ability to keep your existing cellular phone number when moving from one carrier to another. That means, if you have AT&T Wireless and wish to move your service to Nextel, you can keep the same number you currently have with AT&T! We anticipate that there will be delays in getting this process implemented but All Wireless will be happy to facilitate those needs as soon as they become available.
